Paper & Proposal Submissions

The International Radar Conference 2023 Core Organising Committee invites the submission of papers for original work for consideration as an oral presentation or poster, and proposals, for consideration as a tutorial or special session in the Conference.

The submissions portal is now open for all submission types.

Important information regarding submissions

1. Please read through the following information for each submission type before preparing your paper/proposal.

2. All submitting authors are required to create an author account before submitting their paper/proposal.

3. Submit your paper/proposal using the online submission portal. Please note; Adobe Acrobat DC is required to submit an abstract. Adobe Acrobat DC is available in Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. However, you will be required to download the plugin if using Firefox or Safari.

4. If your paper is accepted for publication at this conference, IEEE policy requires you to file a copyright release for each accepted submission. Without a copyright release on file, your paper CANNOT be published. Further instructions will be included in your decision email.

5. At least one author per accepted submission must be registered AND attend the conference to present their paper. IEEE reserves the right to exclude any accepted paper from distribution after the conference (including, removal from IEEEXplore) if the accepted paper is not presented at the conference. 

Initial Papers

Initial Paper submissions are now open for the IEEE International Radar Conference 2023, for consideration as an oral presentation or poster.

Please follow the steps below to complete your submission:

  1. View and download the necessary template, via the button. Initial paper submissions must be 4-6 pages in length and must conform to IEEE conference proceedings templates. Failure to use the required templates may result in the paper not being considered for review.
  2. Go to the submission platform, and create an author account.
  3. To create your proposal submission, click on ‘+ submit‘ on the menu bar, then ‘+ paper‘ from the drop down list.
  4. Fill in the title and add your completed paper in .PDF format to the drag & drop box.
  5. Complete any co-author details, select your track, include a short abstract for the paper and select your desired presentation format.
  6. Click on Preview and Submit, let your preview generate and if you are happy with your submission, click on Submit. 
  7. You may edit your submission via the portal at any point before the deadline.
  8. Successful initial paper submissions will be required to submit a Full Paper.

N.B. Students presenting an accepted paper in the Conference program are required to have at least one author pay for a Full Registration.

SUBMISSIONS FOR INITIAL PAPERS WILL CLOSE ON MONDAY 1 MAY 2023, 11:59PM AEDT.

Tutorial Proposals

Submissions for Tutorial Proposals are now open for the IEEE International Radar Conference 2023.

Please follow the steps below to complete your submission:

  1. Download and complete the PDF form via the button below.
  2. Ensure you have received confirmation from all co-presenters.
  3. Go to the submission platform, and create an author account.
  4. To create your proposal submission, click on ‘+ submit‘ on the menu bar, then ‘+ proposal‘ from the drop down list.
  5. Next to Requested presentation type, select Tutorial Proposal from the drop down list.
  6. Fill in the proposal title and add your completed PDF form to the drag & drop box.
    N.B. You are not required to add any other speakers at this stage to the co-author section in the portal.
  7. Click on Preview and Submit, let your preview generate and if you are happy with your submission, click on Submit. 
  8. You may edit your submission via the portal at any point before the deadline.

SUBMISSIONS FOR TUTORIAL PROPOSALS WILL CLOSE ON WEDNESDAY 29 MAY 2023, 11:59PM AEST.

Special Session Proposals

Submissions for Special Session Proposals are now open for the IEEE International Radar Conference 2023.

Please follow the steps below to complete your submission:

  1. Download and complete the PDF form via the button below.
  2. Ensure you have received confirmation from all authors.
  3. Go to the submission platform, and create an author account.
  4. To create your proposal submission, click on ‘+ submit‘ on the menu bar, then ‘+ proposal‘ from the drop down list.
  5. Next to Requested presentation type, select Special Session Proposal from the drop down list.
  6. Fill in the proposal title and add your completed PDF form to the drag & drop box.
    N.B. You are not required to add any other authors at this stage to the co-author section.
  7. Click on Preview and Submit, let your preview generate and if you are happy with your submission, click on Submit. 
  8. You may edit your submission via the portal at any point before the deadline.
